INTRODUCTION Cyber Gaming is a booming industry with it’s worth estimated to be about 48.9-billion US dollars. The Asia Pacific contributes to about 40% of that figure. Cyber Gaming is an event where player play e-games over the network. World Cyber Games (WCG) is a platform where the players come together to play for the World E-Games Championship. The official web site of WCG is www.worldcybergames.com. Event Concept Cyber Gaming is a growing concept in context to Nepal. In the past 2 years the number of cyber hosting E-games has increased drastically. With the help of this event we want to lay the foundation rock in promoting E-games in Nepal. “Cyber Gaming 2009” is an event that promises to deliver thrill, excitement and jubilation to players seeking a platform to demonstrate their talents and for teams wanting to make their presence felt as an emerging force in the Nepalese Gaming. The event is specifically targeted for college level students (10+2, Bachelors and Masters) to fill the existing lag of competitive tournaments and to further foster cordial relations among the colleges. Altogether 180 players from different colleges and schools are expected to participate in this event, which is first of its kind to be held by the students of Kathmandu College of Management. The tournament is scheduled for 29 - 30 of April and 1st of May, 2009. Event Details Venue: Kathmandu College of Management, Gwarko, Lalitpur, Nepal.
